Justin Taylor never held back when it came to standing up for his beliefs — and neither did the writers and creators of the American rendition of Queer As Folk, a truly groundbreaking hit television series, that ran for five powerful, prideful seasons.
This editorial ensemble — titled He Wanted Me To Fuck Him With My Crown On — serves as an homage to Justin’s journey and how it has inspired me to come into my own, wear my pride every single day, and never take shit from anyone who tries to put me down. These five folded greeting cards, each revealing an iconic quote from the series’ young protagonist, are accompanied by a small booklet.
Justin was a savage, and amongst all his sassiness, the Queer As Folk writers were able to pass a very simple yet essential message: be yourself, unapologetically, and that is how you will become the best queer you could possibly be.
